We enjoyed our stay. Location is perfect. Walking distance to beach, restaurants and shops. Renovations are great, exceptional service from owners and staff. We hope to return one day.

Small but wonderful rooms. Peaceful and inviting courtyard area. Kind and friendly staff. Free bike rentals w/stay. And a real key for your room!! Oh and a coffee shop to get you going. Dining and the beach are just a few walking minutes away. Enjoy!!

I soo wanted to like this motel, but it underdelivered in every way. Our stay was a Friday-Sunday in July. The checkin/checkout office was locked the whole time, and I saw no staff working for the entirety of our stay. Only a morning housekeeper. The cute cafe featured in the motel's online pictures - one of our main reasons for booking our stay - is not even open on Fridays-Sundays. Not even in the high season of July. The rooms were just ok. I did like the large "counter" and bench provided for holding our bags, and appreciate the Malin+Goetz bath products. But the AC was noisy, the shower water pressure was weak, and the room lighting was insufficient and unattractive. (Blue spectrum light at the bed stand, instead of warm spectrum light.). There is a nice central lawn in the middle of this "U"-shaped property, but the grounds are not as attractive as they appear in the online photos. With taxes, I paid over $305/night * 2 nights = $610 for a double queen. I felt it was hugely overpriced for what it was.

Stayed here 5 nights and it was such a great experience. The rooms are super cute, clean, and comfortable. I had the room with the bunk beds which was really fun by itself. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the coffee bar is phenomenal. Probably some of the best coffee I’ve had in a long long time, and the apple bread was soooo good. I will definitely be back here, even if it’s just for another staycation.

From the time we were greeted warmly by the owner, Greg, until the time we checked out, we had an absolutely perfect stay. We live in AB but wanted a staycation for my birthday closer to the beach restaurants and bars. The staff was amazing. The room smelled clean and fresh as soon as we entered. The light fixtures were interesting all on their own. The “courtyard” outdoor fireplace was warm and inviting on a cold night. There was rustic wood features and small amenities that were perfect touches from local, nearby vendors. We will look no further than Hotel Palms for our next staycation or for our family and friends visiting from out of town. Thank you for being such a huge part of the perfect birthday!

I just got done staying here for five days of perfection, body surfing, drinking the best coffees I’ve ever had, and hanging out with the coolest son of a gun in Florida has the offer. This place is heaven. And the ladies at the show pigeons coffee shop in the lobby are my absolute favorite.

The location was amazing! Cheapest hotel in the area! Parking space. The coffee shop was closed most of the time we were there but it’s busy! There was drip coffee available for us though. Greg the owner is around most mornings so it was nice to say hi! I love the Malin goetz products and love that it’s regular size so I don’t feel bad using small travel size. It’s right in the middle everything. There was one bike and I used it to go down to Jacksonville beach. Walls are kinda thin. Our room was the bunk bed which was neat to have for a few days. Fridge space was perfect. We removed the drinks and placed them back. All the drinks and snacks were priced so I appreciated the transparency. My sheets felt damp so I think we shouldn’t have turned off the ac as the area is foggy/damp. Really great stay.
